Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network & Security Engineer to manage the organization's firewalls, switching infrastructure, wireless access points, and basic endpoint security solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network security appliances, wired/wireless networking components, and endpoint protection tools, ensuring the secure and efficient operation of IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
Firewall & Network Security:

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, Palo Alto, Check Point)
- Manage security rules, VPN configurations, NAT policies, and threat protection features
- Monitor traffic and logs to identify potential security incidents Switching & Network Infrastructure:
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot network switches (Layer 2/3) from vendors like Cisco, HP, or Aruba
- Handle VLAN configuration, trunking, STP/RSTP, and port-security
- Perform regular network performance tuning and troubleshooting
Wireless Network Solutions:

- Deploy and manage wireless access points and controllers (e.g., FortiAP, Cisco, Aruba)
- Configure SSIDs, authentication methods (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X), and guest network access
- Conduct wireless signal coverage analysis and basic RF troubleshooting
Endpoint Security:

- Implement and maintain endpoint security tools (e.g., Symantec, Sophos, Defender for Endpoint)
- Ensure antivirus updates, patch compliance, and endpoint threat response
- Support incident triage and remediation on endpoint devices
Support & Documentation:

- Provide L2/L3 support for network and security-related issues
- Collaborate with the IT helpdesk team for end-user issue resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of network assets, IP schemes, and configuration changes
Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Certifications (Preferred): Fortinet NSE 4/5, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Aruba Certified
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing/switching
- Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and switch configurations
- Basic knowledge of wireless networking and endpoint security tools
